I thought to myself, what would be the easiest Pokémon to make in 3D? Naturally, Voltorb and Electrode instantly came to mind. An hour later I had them both done (it takes mere seconds to create a 3D sphere, but getting the textures to look just right can take awhile in the program I use). In contrast to the ease of making the Pokémon, I spent a lot of time on the surroudings and atmosphere, which took several hours. You may recognize it as a 3D rendition of the kanto power plant, based on the sprites from the game. Two pictures were made using this scene (the other is Voltorb: Furious Thunder), so the time spent is split between the two of them.
