This piece was done in celebration of the 25th anniversary of my buying Pokémon Red and beginning my long journey with Pokémon. I chose Psyduck because it was the final of all 151 Kanto Pokémon that reached Level 100 for me, less than two weeks earlier, in fact. The background was an obvious choice, the Hall of Fame pedestal from Pokeémon Stadium, not only for the prestigious feel of it but also because my Psyduck is a special Amnesia Psyduck prize awarded by the game for filling the Hall of Fame.
