Machoke has the distinction of being my least favorite fighting type Pokémon (Gens 1-4). I'm not a fan of big, musclebound lugs in the first place, but the old first gen sprite for it was especially hideous, and those bulging red arm arteries or whatever they're supposed to be, just look gross. I also hate the whole power-save belt idea with a passion. It's easier to ignore with Machamp since it only evolves in trades, so there's a human element involved. But out in the wild it's just so incredibly lame for a Machop to evolve and suddenly have not only clothing but technologically-functional clothing... Ugh. Regardless of my dislike for this Pokémon, I did my best to try and make it look cool. For the background setting I chose Johto's Mt. Mortar.
