The second of two group pieces done specifically with the intent of drawing all the remaining Johto generation Pokémon I had yet to draw. This lot of seven all fit well into a stone island setting. With two Pokémon from the same evolutionary line, I thought it would be nice to center the image around a parent-child situation. The others just happened to be nearby to observe the exciting hatch. Finishing this piece meant I'd finally drawn all 100 Johto Pokémon. If you're curious, the official final one added to the image was Mantine.
