When Old Meets New(ish)

It was my long-time Poké pal's birthday and I felt like I should draw something newer, but since I'm not acquainted with the recent Pokémon generations, I was at a bit of a loss. Galarian Ponyta was a good middleground between something old and something new, so there it is.

Hey all you water type lovers, have I got a treat for you! Actually I don't, it's kind of crap, but it's something new at least.
So the story with this one is that I noticed there were a lot of water types I hadn't drawn from the first generation, so I started sketching some in January, Poliwrath and Slowbro. As I went to save the file, I discovered another file I'd forgotten about, containing Krabby and Seel sketches from November 2016. Apparently I'd had the same notion three years earlier and never followed through. Well, I finally cleaned them up a bit, slapped on a rough coloring job, and called them done, so here you go.
