Pokémon Levels - Unova Generation
Version: White > Black 2, Seen: 649, Own: 649, Updated: 2025/02/28
I didn't expect to take to this generation, but once I got to playing it, I had a lot of fun. However, I hit a snag in that my favorite Gen V Pokémon is Heatmor, but only
if it's shiny. Cue the hatching of 700+ eggs (or was it 1100+? I forget). I got it, but doing so exhausted me on the game and I didn't touch it for the next 12 years. When I finally picked it up again, I thought I'd reorient myself with the story/world by playing through Black 2, and acquire any trade-only Pokémon in the process. By the time I was done getting the most out of it and ready to trade over, I realized that it was more a main game file to me than White, so I traded my White Pokémon over to it instead.

- Given the White > Black 2 trade over (plus fundamental changes to how exp. is awarded anyway), I abandoned my usual "no boosted exp. from trades" policy.
- Gothitelle, Dewott, and Pignite are not favorites, but were my main trio on Black 2 when I thought it would be a throwaway file.
